Recently, interdisciplinary research has become increasingly necessary because of the tendency, as has been pointed out, for the field of pedagogy to be split into specialized parts (Kariya 2007). Therefore, we conducted the life-story interviews twice in the first two years about her teaching experience with a newly adopted teacher who teaches social studies in junior high school, and analyzed her life story referring to the \"10 STEPS in the interdisciplinary research process\" advocated by Repko(2013). As a result, three viewpoints emerged focusing on the related elemennts: \"teaching practice\" , \"a hectic life and a feeling of being too busy\" and \"the relationship with the parents\".
