| 内容記述 | 本稿は，マリー・シェーファー（1933-2021）の『サウンド・エデュケーション』（1992 年）と『音探しの本リトル・サウンド・エデュケーション』（1996 年）に収録される録音をもちいた課題について，フィールド・レコーディングの観点から再考しようとするものである。先行研究をもとにフィールド・レコーディングについての概念整理をおこない，「フィールドを録る」タイプの録音における対象へのアプローチが，フォーカス録音とパノラマ録音に大別できることなどを指摘する。それらを観点として，シェーファーのワールド・サウンドスケープ・プロジェクトでのフィールド・レコーディング実践についても考慮しつつ，両書の録音課題の分析的考察を試みた。両書の録音課題にはフォーカス録音への偏重がみられ，それにより逆説的に「ノイズ」へと意識を誘導しようとする意図が読み取れる。ここから両書の課題が，ともすればある種の「偏向」をふくむ彼のサウンドスケープ観へとあらかじめ方向付けられたものであることがわかる。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | From the perspective of field recording, this paper reexamines recording-based exercises included in A Sound Education (1992) and A Little Sound Education (1996) written by R. Murray Schafer (1933-2021).By summarizing concepts relevant to field recording based on previous studies, sound recording in various fields can be divided into focused recording and panoramic recording. Taking into account these approaches,as well as Schafer's field recordings for the World Soundscape Project, this paper analyzes recording exercises contained in the two books. The exercises tend to emphasize focused recording, which could paradoxically imply Schafer's intention to guide the reader's attention to noise. Based on this observation, one can see that the exercises in the two books are designed to reflect Schafer's view of soundscapes which may contain certain biases. | |||||||||
